My name is Louis Deering, I’m a senior affiliate marketing manager at Ecom Access, the parent company of Share Results and Income Access, two affiliate marketing networks that specialize in white label tracking software and dedicated affiliate management services.

Income Access works exclusively in iGaming (poker, casino, bingo and sports betting) and represents some of the biggest and best known brands in the industry: Ladbrokes, Victor Chandler, Sportingbet, Stan James, Bet Fred, Heaven Affiliates, Devilfish, Centrebet, Canbet, Tombola and Bingo.com.

Share Results focuses on retail and lead gen clients, mainly in the North American market (though they are expanding into other markets bit by bit), and work with some big names as well: Education Dynamics, Photobucket, Nero, TheCuteKid, AdditionElle/Penningtons.

Having reached the three year mark in my affilliate management career, consulted and managed countless affiliate programs accross all niches, including Retail, Education, Insurance, Poker, Casino, Sports Betting and Mobile, and winning Best Non Traditional Affiliate Manager at the 2009 IGBAwards, it occurred to me it might be time to start documenting my affiliate strategy lessons for the world at large. This blog serves no purpose other than to be a dumping ground for the lessons I’ve learned, as well as an exercise in SEO and blogging practices, to help better understand an affiliate’s job from a technical point of view.
